1965年東京生まれ
東京写真専門学校報道科卒業
講談社「現代」編集部を経てフリーランスへ
現在雑誌を中心に多岐の分野で活躍中

シリアに初めて行った1987年から、ライフワークであるアラブ世界の撮影を始める
特にシリアの遊牧民ベドウィンを1995年から17年間撮影し続けており、世界で唯一である

シリア写真家協会名誉会員

（社）日本外国特派員協会（FCCJ）会員

著書

・2014年　写真集「ARAB-Bedouin of the Syrian Desert : Story of

・北京国際写真展「PHOTO BEIJING 2014」に招待作家として出品。

2015年
・写真展「ARAB　シリア沙漠のベドウィン　家族の物語」を横浜ユーラシア文化館にて開催。

・写真展「ARAB　Bedouin of the Syrian Desert」を新宿のビア&カフェBERGにて開催。

2016年
・UAE・ドバイのMONDA Galleryとアーティスト契約。写真展示会「A Lifetime Journey with Syrian Bedouin Families」をドバイモール内の紀伊國屋書店にて開催。

・写真展「ベドウィン -シリア沙漠に生きる-」を岡山市立オリエント美術館にて開催。

2017年
・写真展「シリア沙漠のベドウィン」を古代オリエント博物館にて開催。

2018年
・写真展「AN ARAB STORY;The S’Baa Clan of Syria 1995-2011」をアメリカ、ニューヨークGallery AWAにて開催。

・写真展「ARAB　Bedouin of the Syrian Desert」をイギリス セント・ジョンズ・カレッジ (オックス　フォード大学)（ St John’s College, Oxford） にて開催される T.E.Lawrence Societyシンポジウムにて開催。　

2020年
・写真展「遊牧ぐらし～草原の民と砂漠の民～」を神奈川県立地球市民かながわプラザ（あーすぷらざ）にて開催。

2021年
・写真展「シリアへのラブレター」を新宿のビア&カフェBERGにて開催。

2022年 ・ドイツ、ケルンのRautenstrauch-Joest-Museumでの特別展「シリアー忘却に抗って」に作品出品。

2023年

・写真展「Bedouin of the Syrian Desert」をスイス、ジュネーブのCERN（欧州原子核研究機構）にて開催。

Life and work

・Born in Tokyo in 1965

・Graduated from the Tokyo College of Photography, Broadcast and Journalism Division

・Was a member of the editorial staff of Gendai, a publication of Kodansha, Co., Ltd , and then worked there as a freelance photographer.

・I continue to provide photographs for publications, mainly periodicals, in many different fields.

・I have given lectures at art galleries, museums, UNICEF and UNESCO around the world

・I began photographing in the Middle East in 1987

・I have taken photographs of Bedouins in Syria in particular for 17 years since 1995, and I am the only one in the world

・Member, Japan Professional Photographers Society

・Member, Foreign Correspondent’s Club of Japan

・Honorary Member, Syrian Arab Republic Photographers Association
